The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (UJD) did not rule out a slight delay of three or four months in completion of the third and fourth blocks of Mochovce NPP.

Less than four months ago, the ministry controlled Mochovce NPP. Then Economy Minister Pavol Pavlis expressed satisfaction with work of employees on completing the third and fourth blocks of Mochovce NPP. Minister and managers of the company Slovenske Elektrarne, which is completing the nuclear units, are convinced that the latest deadlines will be met. The launch of the third nuclear block is scheduled for November 2016, while the fourth one for a year later. The Nuclear Regulatory Authority, which oversees the completion, states that the use of workforce and machinery on the site increased significantly this year. „The pace of finishing works is much higher compared to past periods,“ a spokeswoman for the regulatory authority Zuzana Hostovecka informed the portal vEnergetike.sk.
