The state still owns six largest heating companies in Bratislava, Trnava, Zilina, Martin, Zvolen and Kosice. The governments led by Mikulas Dzurinda and Iveta Radicova wanted to private these companies, however their plans failed. The governments led by Robert Fico refused to sell these energy companies.
