Remuneration for Gabcikovo trial fell by 46 million euros
Under the agreement, Radomir Bzan’s law firm is expected to receive 17.64 million euros instead of 64 million euros.
The company MH Manazment has agreed with Radomir Bzan’s law firm to the reduction of the remuneration for the international arbitration over the hydropower plant Gabcikovo. Under the agreement, the firm is now expected to receive 17.64 million euros. The success fee is thus around 2.5% of the dispute value, since the state could have lost 705.6 million euros in the international arbitration. „This percentage is the result of an agreement,“ the chairman of MH Manazment Branislav Bacik said. Originally, under the agreement signed between the state-owned company MH Manazment and Radomir Bzan’s law firm, the law firm was supposed to receive a 11 percent success fee, e.g. about 64 million euros.
