The Regulatory Office for Network Industries would like to reflect falling gas prices on markets into gas prices for households and small companies. The series of regulated gas price reduction are likely to continue.

The gas price for households and small companies will probably decrease. The Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO) began price-setting process towards gas utility Slovensky Plynarensky Priemysel in regards to the natural gas price reduction on its own initiative on Tuesday, November 3. The reason for this action is the development on the international gas market. The regulator opines that the trend of decreasing prices on markets must also reflect in regulated gas prices for consumers. „The public will be informed about the results of the price-setting process, particular changes in prices for natural gas supplies immediately after the end of the process and issuing decision,“ URSO informed.
