The power utility Slovenske Elektrarne once again draws the attention of the police after two years. The National Criminal Agency (NAKA) is carrying out the raid at the nuclear power plant in Mochovce. Slovenske Elektrarne, which is responsible for the completion of Mochovce NPP and owns the power plant, confirmed the police raid. „We confirm that NAKA had entered the site of the third and fourth nuclear unit in Mochovce on Wednesday, specifically the offices of the former contractor for the completion of the power plant,“ a spokeswoman for Slovenske Elektrarne, Janka Burdova, informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. She said that the further details would be provided by the Slovak police. The police have confirmed the raid. „We can confirm that the National Criminal Agency of the Police Corps Presidium is conducting seizure of accounting documents for the purpose of the criminal prosecution across the country,“ Martin Waldl from the communication and prevention department of the Police Corps President said. He refused to provide further details. „Further information will be revealed as soon as the procedural situation allows it,“ said Waldl.
