Slovak police increased the number of criminal proceedings in Slovenske Elektrarne. The special team is currently leading the proceeding in seven criminal cases.

The police investigation at the power utility Slovenske Elektrarne (SE) has not yet finished. On the contrary, the police have increased the number of criminal proceedings. While in April 2016, the police expert team led the criminal proceeding in five criminal matters, currently it is in seven cases, Martin Waldl from the Police Force President’s communication and prevention department informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. He rejected to specify the new proceeding. „It is impossible to provide further information as the investigation is ongoing,“ Waldl said. The police carried or a raid at the nuclear power plant in Mochovce in July 2016. It allegedly concerned the former supplier. Waldl said that seized materials during seven visits were now examined. „No criminal charges have been raised against any specific person in this matter,“ Waldl added.
