Nuclear power plants generated most electricity in Slovakia
Nuclear power plant in Mochovce generated 7,523 GWh of electricity and in Jaslovske Bohunice 7,623 GWh of electricity in 2015.
The power utility Slovenske Elektrarne relied mostly on its nuclear power plants last year. Electricity production at nuclear power plants accounted for 77 percent of company’s total electricity production. „Nuclear power plant in Mochovce generated 7,523 GWh of electricity and the in Jaslovske Bohunice 7,623 GWh of electricity in 2015. Both plants have thus proved their long-term significant share on guaranteeing country’s energy security,“ informed Slovakia’s dominant electricity producer.
