New head of Regulatory Office could be chosen in two months
According to Economic Minister Peter Ziga, the selection commission will be choosing the new chairman of the Regulatory Office in Network Industries.
The name of the new chairman of the Regulatory Office in Network Industries (URSO) could be announced in about two months. Economic Minister Peter Ziga informed following the cabinet’s session on Wednesday that there is no candidate for this post yet. “We are establishing the selection commission which will consist of the representatives of employers’ associations and Association of the Towns and Villages of Slovakia. A new management of the Office could be revealed on July 1 or July 15,“ said Ziga. Simultaneously, he is convinced that the amendment to the Act on Regulation in Network Industries, approved on Wednesday, is a very transparent legislation.
