Nafta expects electricity storage test results
Data obtained within the project Underground Sun Storage is currently being evaluated.
The Underground Sun Storage project aimed at exploring the possibilities of storing electricity from renewable energy sources (RES) in the form of the hydrogen and natural gas mixture has made progress. The Slovak company Nafta together with the Austrian company RAG have completed the energy storage test. Currently, the evaluation of the data collected is ongoing. „The data obtained is currently being analyzed and will be used for other innovative projects subsequently,“ Alena Maslakova Skvrndova, Nafta’s external communication specialist informed the portal vEnergetike.sk.
