The new head of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries Lubomir Jahnatek wants to intensify talks with companies when setting energy prices.
The Regulatory Office for Network Industries (URSO) will be more transparent, announced the new chairman of the Office Lubomir Jahnatek on Tuesday after being appointed to this post by the cabinet on Monday. His goal is to open the Office to the public and ensure predictability of energy prices. Prime Minister Robert Fico asked him to use the options within the regulatory framework to the full. He would like Jahnatek to keep an eye on cost items laid down in price proposals submitted by companies. One of the first steps of the new chairman will be a withdrawal of the decrees on the calculations of the prices of electricity, water and heat issued by the former management.
