Eastring pipeline wins Bulgarians’ political support
Slovak Economy Minister Peter Ziga and Bulgarian Deputy Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov signed a memorandum which expresses political support for Eastring pipeline.
Slovak pipeline project Eastring is once again closer to its implementation. After Slovakia’s gas transmission network Eustream and Bulgarian gas carrier Bulgartransgaz signed the memorandum of understanding in early June, a similar memorandum has been signed by Slovak Economy Minister Peter Ziga and Bulgarian Deputy Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov. „Slovaks and Bulgarians consider this memorandum an important beginning of the demonstration of support for the pipeline project leading to its effective implementation,“ informed Slovakia’s economy ministry.
