After the cabinet’s session, Economy Minister Hudak Vazil confirmed that the state wants to have more power in Slovenske Elektrarne.

Economy Minister Vazil Hudak has expressed his dissatisfaction with the pace of the completion of the third and fourth block at Mochovce NPP. „This has been strongly emphasised to the partners at Enel. Unfortunately we are in a position that we can only push for it, but we have no means to influence the deadline. Thanks to enforcing certain measures, the process has slightly accelerated, but unfortunately, it is in Enel‘s hands. I may say that our further efforts have not been reflected,“ said Hudak after cabinet’s session on Wednesday. Minister says that deadlines for the completion of Mochovce blocks, November 2016 and the end of 2017 can be eventually met. „We reckon that there is a 3-month delay compared to the original deadline. This does not mean that this estimate will become reality. We will urge to avoid this delay and meet original deadlines,“ said Hudak.
