More than 2.7 million tons of crude oil has been transported via Druzhba pipeline this year
The Slovak oil carrier, the company Transpetrol, reached a 5-year peak in oil transport last year after transporting over 9.9 million tons of oil. In comparison, in 2014, it was roughly one million ton less. The company informed the portal vEnergetike.sk that over 2.7 million tons of oil has been transported via Druzhba pipeline this year. The company transports crude oil mainly for two companies, Bratislava-based refinery Slovnaft and Ceska Rafinerska.
